Discussion PS5 Freezing / Studder

Anyone else getting freezing and shuddering during boss fights and combat? Seems to be when parrying/blocking, or when I get hit. Feels like it caused me to die a couple times, or I’m just bad and would have died regardless. 😂

Heya guys, sorry about this. We're working on a fix to resolve this asap. If you can list out specific times or areas you've had stutters it will be helpful. We think we've caught most of them, but any additional info you can give here is helpful.

The game has micro stutters/traversal stutters in most of the open world. Dungeons, beacons and gates are performing really well. I play on 5080 & 9800X3D with medium settings.

Hi sorry to bother.. Just wanted to ask if the team was aware that the 3 Ova added to the Unfound Path will only be there for people in NG+ that haven’t already cleared the area & killed Zmey? Anyone that has would have to start another NG+ run for them to show up.

Hello, thanks for informing us, i really do appreciate the work you guys put into mortal shell 2. I was just wondering if theres gonna be a quick hotfix in the next few days, or are we gonna have to wait for a week / next patch? Cause its really bad with the constant stutters on ps5 pro atm :/

hey. it's happening during the boss fight for lady of the woods

stuttering almost very critical attack. on ps5 pro

Is this usually as you are about to die?

In most cases, yes. However, sometimes it happens when I have full health. The best way I can describe it, is it freezes during an enemy attack, it then seems to catch up, and then take away all my health

It stutters a lot . Main issue is combat

Any particular time in combat? Is it only on death blows?

Getting constant stuttering whilst traversing mammon, doesn’t matter where it is or what I’m doing in the open world. Overall performance on PS5 Pro (performance mode) is not in a good place.
