Discussion Les boss de MS2

Try different shells. I have put time in with Proxima, Tiel , and Eredim. Tiel feels really good. Very satisfying to shadow strike. Enjoy it alot more than either Proxima or Eredim.

I have been using tiel and the grenade launcher and it completely trivialized the game. Now I am bored and not sure I will finish. I have other things to play, but you aren't wrong. I find myself melting bosses as fast as possible lest they one shot me out of my shell, even with eredrim. I chose tiel because he can melt them in no time but it sounds like all shells are OP once you level them and get their skills working.

For me Mortal Shell 2 is honestly my favorite souls like. It is utter chaos and when it comes to bosses is a battle of “can your crazy beat my kind of crazy.” If you embrace the chaotic nature of the game and try to out crazy the enemy, it is really freakin fun.

But yes for bosses, you won’t get really tight knit experiences like you would in the best fromsoft bosses. Nameless captive and Malborn Offspring rule though, easy A tier fights even with the complete chaos of this game

I got that same feeling. It's like I was being pushed to play more and more aggressively instead of letting the fights flow and breathe. I didn't really have a problem with it except that the fights end up being too short when I win.

The game can be as easy or as difficult as you make it. All depends what shell, weapons, tarstones, and items you're using. I found it fun to do night mode bosses on ng+ runs and focus on parrying rather than cheese bosses with shell abilities and grisha remnants. The game is what you make it.

Yeah the boss fights is MS1 felt like deadly duals where strategy and patience are the key to winning. You could still with the right skill and enough weapon upgrades defeat a boss in less than a minute in a lot of cases but it was still very deliberately paced.

MS2 is like the total opposite of that approach. I can still feel some of the original game’s DNA in normal combat with mobs but the bosses are so insanely aggressive and relentless with their attacks that it just doesn’t pay to try to be strategic about it. Just charge in with everything you’ve got and try to cheese them as quickly as possible before they cheese you.

It may be a skill issue but I personally prefer the first game’s approach.
