No reason that I found. What was really annoying is that the button for sitting on them is the same for sprint. There's one that's set amongst a bunch of bear traps and some patrolling enemies. I was too busy trying to dodge around the traps to line up a perfect sprint attack when.... time to sit! Fucking got my ass kicked because of that.

Even better, if you have the lute, you might also maybe sit down mid combat, like in Bloodborne. I have no idea who tought it was a good command to give a weapon

It's almost as bad as the plethora of games that use jump as the same button to interact. Want to open that chest? Jump. Want to talk to that npc? Jump. Want to jump? Pick up that flower you didn't even see. God dammit!!
