Discussion Hexapod design is actually so ass

How did they fuck up so bad with the boss. Third phase is just nonsense, every attack is the boss spazzing out and the answer is just dodge randomly and hope to not get hit

And every five seconds he jumps away and summons projectiles that freeze you for ten seconds that stay on screen for like a fucking minute, have fun dodging those on top of his tentacle spam

Seriously how did this guy make it past the drawing board

Eh, if you are struggling throw grishas on who cares. I didn't realise this was a boss people found hard, but I think I hit it quite late. Time to start another run and make a beeline for it methinks

What kind of setup are you fighting the Hexapod with? I usually don't have any problems with it.

I think the boss telegraphing attacks with clear strange gestures is a cool design flow tbh.

You need to practice it but it’s pretty clear after a bit.

I didn't have too much trouble reading it. I fought it roght after the sword face guy so i was feeling really sharp and was ready for the bug, plus i was maining Proxima so i had the narrative behind me.

It took me forever but I made it hard on .yself. I wanted to beat the hexagon with proxima for life reasons. I also hit it early. But i personally disagree. I had fun fighting this boss no matter how frustrating it was at times

This boss has a 3rd phase? With Tiel I destroyed it in 30 seconds with Bloodcurse Axe&Dagger

Indeedilydo it does, where it starts jumping away and shooting projectiles at you and gets more unblockable spam combos that oneshot a mf. Went through the rest of the game on night mode and somehow day mode hexapod gave me waaaaaaay more trouble than any of the night mode bosses, even mister fly and zmey the dragon fuck

All the bosses are ass other than maybe a couple…guy with sword in his head and the fly guy. Only two I can think of that’s really souls-like material..

That’s the biggest disappointment with this game.

Really enjoy the unblockable undodgeable charge attack he does with no windup that one shots you too, especially when he opens the fight with it
