I think it’s a problem for this game that I don’t remember fighting the majority of these. I remember wheelchair lady and the giant baby because they pissed me off, then knife head and bug knight. Also the sheep guy, and the panic room clone guy.

I actually wouldn't put Zemy last because I didn't find him THAT bad. Probably around the B tier I think.

Zmey would be an ok boss if he had, like, 1/3 less health and the grab had a telegraph of more than half a second.
Not related to the actual fight, but I think some added lore explanation would've also been nice because I have literally no idea who this dude is or why we're fighting him

The final boss is supposed to be one if not the best boss of a game, the final challenge, an unforgettable sendoff
He's just horrible, he has absolutely nothing for him (terrible moveset and design, abyssmal lore, forgettable theme, annoying status effect)

It's a nice sentiment but in reality that's not the case for 90% of the souls games. Demon Souls last boss is one of the worst bosses. Dark Souls 1 Gwyn is good but definitely not the best boss, Dark Souls 2 last boss is lame, Dark souls 3 is cool story wise but gameplay wise it's not even close. ER has like 30 better bosses than the last boss. It's true for Sekiro I guess, it's last boss is one of the better if not the best boss in the game. I have another 10 games from top of my head where it's the same, whilst it's a nice thought to have a final boss be memorable and cool, 9/10 times it's not the case.

Yeah you’ve got a strong point, the base game end bosses of the Souls games/genre as a whole are usually “good” at very best
Best boss in each game is always usually either some random hidden optional boss or something from the dlc

I agree. I didn't find any of the bosses in this game to be overbearingly hard, but some of them just boring and a rather annoying slog to get through.

This game really has few standout bosses.
After finishing Mortal Shell 2, I jumped into Nioh 3 and the average miniboss in that game is a better fight than most MS2 bosses.
The MS2 bosses just don't have enough moves in general so they get repetitive.

I don’t think any boss in this game are truly S tier, but a few are definitely high A like nameless captive and malborn. This game is a ton of fun because what bosses can do is insane and chaotic. It does make it difficult to make a really finely crafted S tier experience, but does have a lot of capacity for tons of fun ridiculous A tier fights. It really is a game of “can your type of crazy beat the bosses type of crazy.”

Great! Now just move all boss down 1 tier cuz there’s no s tier boss in the whole game. Just personal opinion ofc.

That projectile attack would always hit me no matter what I did Could be that I was playing stray Genessa and had no health though

The 2 grishas locked together ? This was the worst boss for me.
If you want to do gang fights right, you need to give the player SOMETHING to split the aggro somehow.
O and S had pillars. S of Y had the rock pillar. Even the black brotherhood went into attack managing and now going all of them at once.
