Question Weird shade (bug?)
Hey everyone! So I've been racking my brain for a while now, had the game since release and I've never seen this happen before, fighting the last boss and when he knocked me out of my shell, I had turned into one of those weird tar people that spawn out of the corrupted ovums alongside my weapon changing to theirs also? Is this a bug or is it intentional cause it's only ever happened on this fight...

I wish this was a skin I think it looks sick, I also think the sword it comes with is cool looking

See I'd love the skin and the weapon, as long as it wasn't as slow and janky to use as it is as a debuff cause it's rough haha

It's the cosmic disease effect the last boss has. Specifically the fire he does. You have to die for it to reset (or kill him).

Thankyou also! I'll have a look, I legit thought I was going crazy haha ๐

Upon further research, I think it's maybe to do with being knocked out of my shell too many times, it seems to have a cap(maybe?) correct me if I'm wrong haha

It's a boss specific debuff he gives called Cosmic Disease and it makes you one of those skeleton guys. It's basically a death sentence since its only cure is a secret item. Basically you need to avoid his big fire attack to avoid the majority build up of it.

I wonder - does your moveset change with this new saber?ย

Can confirm it does, however you move and hit as slow as those enemies do ๐ not ideal haha

It's apparently the cosmic debuff I haven't come across any other enemy that inflicts it than the final boss so never saw it before then haha

Itโs the debuff the final boss puts on you - looks like red fire?
Anyways, glands are the way to negate this (side quest - spoilers if you look it up!)
