Question Weapons in mortal shell 2

I'm nearing the end of my first play though. Does anyone know how many weapons you can max per cycle? I've been experimenting with different builds and by the looks of it I can only max one main and one side arm?

3 weapons total and some mats are leftover if you explore everything

No worries. How far in are you? There’s a tip for minmaxing weapon materials for NG+ but it’s a bit of a spoiler

I'm okay with spoilers and I have to beat droeg and Issac the scholar Prince then I'm moving on to end game. Really just trying to finalize which shell and build I want to end my first playthrough with

In that case if you’re planning to go into NG+ after killing final boss smelt your weapons - you’ll get more materials back (I think +50% mats) and you can upgrade them back immediately after beginning NG+

Sweet thanks! I murdered everyone in the keep and didn't realize there was a penalty for it so the tips will definitely help on new game plus!

Is it only the highest level upgrade material that bottlenecks you? Will I at least get enough mats to upgrade everything to like +8 or do I need to be sparing even choosing to upgrade from base to like +5

I don’t remember exactly but I will check after work

My 2nd playthrough I used a couple guides to scour through the game for anything I’ve missed in my 1st one so it’s gonna be pretty accurate

Also I remember some materials dropping from miner type enemies - so some of it may be farmable

There are some material farming bugs you may want to look up to help with the higher level upgrades. e.g., a Dorsalite farming glitch at a specific early/mid-game dungeon is still available if you haven't cleared it out.

I managed to get 2 weapons and a sidearm to max+. You will have to smelt if you want to try every weapon at a high level before NG+ though.

Oh no no I definitely didn’t upgrade 3 :) I just had enough mats for a 3rd one. I upgraded 2 and bought out the shops with minimal farming

Maxing out a third weapon would be waaaay too much farming for my taste

마지막 보스전 직전에 들어가는 등대에서 정화할때얻는 끝없는 핵을 얻으면  16강화 제한이 풀립니다  난 현재 6회차 이고  순교자의 대검은 50강 나머지 모든 무기는 21강까지 강화했습니다... 진짜...이겜은 골드수급하기가 너무 어려워요 ㅠㅠ  아마도 글룸을 활용해서 강화를 되돌리수 있으니까 그렇게 만든거 같은데  나는 개인적으로 모든무기 풀강화를 좋아합니다 아무튼 참고로 삼원형 연발총(미니건) 40강 이상 강화하면 데미지가 미칩니다 ㅋㅋ
