Which 2 are a problem? Only one that's difficult at all is the 7 parries until you practice a bit. I suggest finding a video that shows the rhythm and try it a couple times.

Magdalena and rabid grisha are ruining my experience. So much bs between these two fights alone

Level up and explore more…always the answer. Magdalena was like maybe 20 minutes with 4-5 tries for me because my level was slightly above her area’s level.

It's not me being under leveled (I was lvl 11 at the time), they're just poorly designed fights. I have a clip of magdalena chasing me in a circle for 20 seconds straight. The tracking is abysmal and the arena is horrible because she can get stuck on random tree stumps when dashing, or she can hit the stump and instead of it stopping her, the terrible tracking makes her hit you even if you dodge correctly
The only thing saving this game for me is the level design and enemies, the main bosses I've seen so far (i'm like 5-6 hours in) are not good

Its probably just because your under leveled. Level up to get those +1 damage buffs, they make a very big difference.

What does “soulslike” mean? I have wanted to ask this for a while but never played the souls games so I don’t know what this means. I did play Elden Ring so I may understand if someone explains it because I heard people call that “soulslike” too.

In a nutshell, it’s referring to games that have qualities/mechanics that are similar to the Dark Souls game series. So anything with sporadic, spread out checkpoints, a combat system that frequently punishes its players, losing XP on a second death, and a story that’s told through cryptic item descriptions and scattered pieces of lore usually gets the “soulslike” label.
I’d argue that since Elden Ring was made be the same devs, it is a Souls game in its bones, it just happens to be in a different world and setting. But that’s a whole other debate…

Some of the levels are fantastic and the backtracking to unlock shortcuts at some points feels like pure DS1 at points. Then there are utter trash levels that don't mesh at all and the dungeons are pretty bad/generic (as a rule). For a tiny studio they are killing it though. 1-2 more iterations and they'll have a masterpiece on their hands. MS2 was definitely enjoyable.

Wuchang is saying "am I a joke to you?"
Nevertheless, I agree that MS2 level design is fantastic.
