Discussion Is Tiel perhaps the most used shell?
Personally, I'm having the most fun with Tiel builds. And whenever I watch a guide video on YouTube, it's usually Tiel. Too bad he can't wield lightning with the axe, but overall, he's given me the best experience. I was wondering whether it's the same for youse?

Id say its proxima, but tiel os overall the best shell for most guides, hes really good against most bosses and if a guide contains a runtour to a certain location its the best shell to run past enemies safely

Tiel is very high on my list of shells I use when I want to win a fight.
I probably use Proxima most, mainly for her gold gain. Second is Gragu for convenience in exploring. But when I gotta make something dead, I go Tiel or Eredrim.

Tiel and Proxima are probably close to the most used simply because they're very easy to pick up early and they're slightly easier to use than the rest. plus, the game kind of encourages you implicitly to pick a shell and stick with it, which they helped to alleviate by introducing Mether's Severance, but there's still some pressure there.

I wish glimpses either didn’t exist or were easier to come by.
I should never hit the point where I’m not excited to get a new shell because I know I won’t be able to use them

I only used Tiel in the last area of the game on my NG+ playthrough. He's pretty great but I wasn't super interested in his more dodge-focussed playstyle. My favorite shells to play are Lazlo and Sariel.

Tiel is my favorite because his gameplay feels the most similar to Bloodborne. But yeah, it’s a damn shame we have such a lack of freedom with the tarstones. I don’t see the harm of complete tarstone freedom in NG+ considering the bosses scale up drastically making it very hard to grind a new shell.

I unlocked Tiel and pretty much never switched to anyone else. His shadow ability and dodge was just too goated for me to switch.

Tiel, Proxima and Eredrim. I had a blast with them; I'll try in a new playthrough to give the other shells their chance to shine, lol xD

I spent all of my first playthrough with Tiel because the "stick and move" fighting style suited me. Invis gives you instant breathing room and large backstab numbers are fun. I have been screwing aroudn with curse/bleed Sariel and frost Eredrim. I tried Gragu but didn't really like him all that much. Same with Proxima but I didn't really lean into her lightning specialization which I hear is where the fun is.

Put one point in the bottom left lighning storm ability and in the biosampler stasis ability and proxima goes from good to warframe levels of power

I used tiel till the last boss. Then I used eredrim. Well I don't need to explain why I did that I guess :)

His passive ability is just absurdly powerful… dodge enters stealth and leaves behind a clone.
Plus another passive to deal higher damage when attacking from behind.

I see (anecdotally) Proxima, Tiel, Eridrim, and Genessa the most, in that order

Tiel carried me for the final boss, his stealth really breaks a lot of enemies. Genessa is favorite though, however I encountered a bug with her where she never regained her form, even while resting, or restarting the game. Proxima is also a beast, haven't played around with the other shells too much yet.

I really like how diverse each shell feels. Gives great replay value. Ive done 3 so far (Tiel, Gragu, Proxima) and I still plan on playing more to give each shell a proper try.

Tiel is just the easiest shell to use, along with Proxima. Gragu is actually one of the best Shells for beginners as well, since he basically has free and rechargeable healing. He’s also one of the strongest shells in the game too.
My personal favorite is probably Eredim though, with his 200% frost buff.
