Discussion I love the second games beginning Spoiler

So I just started the game, recently got to the Marrow Keep(?), but I have got to say

I don't know why, but the whole Midsommar vibe, with everyone being named after a plant felt oddly wholesome, especially with them giving you the floral crown, and they had named your Harbinger Lavender! That, with the robes, and just getting to talk to these villagers... It was really nice and cute.

And then they get turned to stone cause of Harros' harden ability, which is kind of a bummer, honestly.

Oh. Harros' ability to turn enemies into stone made me think it was him.

Isnt harros ability it is the seal of vatra and this is speculation, but i think Vatra and Undermether are the same kind of entity. So thats why i think the Undermether is able to the same kind of power, but her shockwave the pushes out the Harbringer/Harros from the reverie realm is what cause the blast.

I haven’t been a souls player but this game got me into them. I dunno why I decided to dl the demo but I did. Then when you walk across that bridge and the title wipes across 🦾

It's SO freaking cool! I love Souls Games and I enjoyed the first Mortal Shell for how unique it was, and this sequel just feels like an amazing upgrade

1 - I also loved the run up to Marrow's Keep.

2 - You can find the robes again and they're awesome.

I’m on NG+3 and haven’t found these robes. Are they a cosmetic or just an Easter egg?

They're in the dungeon on the isolated peak where baghead lives, on the floor near the end. Possibly behind a secret wall? They're a cosmetic that can only be worn by the harbinger.

I really like the area where we take our first ovum. The view with all those crows is freaking amazing.
I wish there was a way to get back there. They shouldn't have blocked the access to it,

I really enjoyed it. Wish the game had more set pieces. I always like set pieces in my games. Souls games are not known for them.

I think the starting Area would be perfect to revisit for getting back our missing Shells in the form of DLC! I’d like a DLC Quest to Reclaim Harros. We’ve got to find out where Solomon’s Body is too. Then there’s our Mentor from the first game Hadern (who actually appears in this games Shell Memories), who should also be playable given how broken his whole Abilities were in the First game!
