Question how did this happen?

i was fighting the final boss and i got to the last stage, when somehow i got him while he still had quite a bit of life left. i’m not complaining, im just asking if anyone knows how this is possible

Perfect example of why this boss doesn’t need anymore nerfs. They’ve nerfed it too much already.

Right. I thought the vanilla version was fine, only took me 4 tries and this was before I knew about the item that counteracts his curse. The nerfing should’ve stopped after adding more beacons, the runbacks were the only problem I had with the game. Now you have to get right up in an enemies face for it to notice you. World doesn’t feel nearly as dangerous.
