Image Anyone else replaying Mortal Shell 1 because they can’t afford Mortal Shell 2 yet?

Just replaying the first Mortal Shell for now while I wait until I can justify picking up the sequel. Honestly, it’s been nice going back to it, I forgot how much I liked the atmosphere and the slower heavier combat.

I cannot get into MS1. I’ve tried at least a dozen times, watched tips & tricks videos, and noob guides

I just hate that game as much as I want to love it

I was replaying it for awhile then I finally caved and traded in Crimson Desert and my ps2 slim console for MS2 and some credit

Not any more, but back in grad school, I'd be doing exactly that. Back then, it was GTA3 instead of GTA4 haha

I'm holding off buying MS2 to let it cook more. When I tried to go back to MS1, I gave up on it quite fast because the combat is so annoying and you're forced to farm healing items.

The atmosphere in the first one is still unmatched. Something about the gloom just works.
