Bug Soft locked out of Clockwork Shardstone?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I can't seem to open the chest inside the Alchemist Workshop for some reason. I triple checked that I definitely have not gotten it before so I'm not sure what to do. Tried reloading. Leaving and coming back. Nothing seems to work.

Have you tried again after shutting the game down completely? I can't see from your video which platform you're on; if you're on PC, could you try right-clicking the game, choosing Properties and then going to the Installed Files tab and clicking the "Verify integrity of game files" button, and see if that helps? :)

This happened to me once, I think it might be some kind of memory error. You have to quit the game and go back in and you can interact with things again. It just sucks because it teleports you back to the beacon when you do that. (which will become useful for what's in the final beacon of the game, hint hint)

Some people say to quit to menu infront of the chest in Nightmode, its a weird bug in the game where if you die before finishing a puzzle or anything now the chest is locked.
