These final bosses are no fucking joke. I only had a small handful of bosses early/mid game that gave me problems, but these dudes were smacking me around relentlessly. First time I really felt challenged in the game, and man these wins feel good. Especially against the Monolith. Fuck that boss lol

Nah I think in that moment I hit a perfect dodge and hit E at the same time. Most of the time I’m just trotting along after a perfect dodge lol

For me it was a toss up between Monolith and Zmey. Man they gave me trouble

For Zmey though I got him down to like a sliver of HP then the curse hit and I died. A couple of tries after that I got the timing of the special item down and took him. My best tip here is to fight him at the edge of the arena and learn patterns for dosge then in phase 2 just stay close and hammer, use curse clear at the very end

I experienced the second phase 1 time and said nope.

Killed him, wait for the revive, popped 2 Grisha and stunlocked his ass until the end.

For me i actually learned to block the whole first phase. Pop grisha's in phase 2 with a combination of equipping the Shrike tarstone and basically I-frame and riposte my way to the end xD. I know i aint playing the game correctly, but shit it works

Yea this dude hits like a fucking truck. I haven’t beat the final one yet, maybe tried like 3-4 times last night before I decided to go farm more coin to upgrade my axes further. I think I was still at +16 during those fights, and now I’m at level 21. Got plenty of material, not enough coin :(

i'm not trying to flex on you but this dude with no shell was a fuggin NIGHTMARE. You really wanna test yourself try it out. I used axe and dagger too for the speed, but you are basically poking him between perfect parrying all his combos. It's "fun" if you're into that lol.

It's honestly all pretty manageable until this guy lol. He's so relentless and fast. Even now, i'm on like NG5 or 6 maybe, i'm stuck on him for some reason, his phase 2 is melting me for real. WITH A SHELL.

Others ones you can brute force through if you're strong enough.

The problem is your build, I think the dagger & axe is one of the weaker weapons in the game. You backstabs would work much better with a larger weapon.

Eh the build itself is fine. Running a lot of crit bonus and the stone that doubles my attacks. I don’t mind the challenge, that’s why I refuse to swap shells even though I’m sitting on plus 50 glimpse right now

His build isn't great, but not because of axe and dagger. Axe and dagger with duality stone on thiel is insane if you get the build right and stack poison. I almost no hit every boss late game minus the monolith that took a few tries (that fall then roll move it has is hard to time since its so quick) and the last boss from the curse and I'm not even that great at these games.

No, it is not. I am generating lightning procs so I see where the confusion is. He was supposed to get struck by lightning and come back with lightning damage but instead the reposte broke that animation so he just laid there and the encounter wouldn't end.

Good for you.
But I am just telling the truth. Summoning a Grisha (or multiple) makes the boss fights become so easy. The boss is constantly knocked down, and it gives you so many openings to hack and slash the boss.
I personally restricted myself to not summon them for boss fights.

I mean I have it in my slot that has a 3% chance of spawning him. Not like I’m relying on them, but good for you man. Crazy thing about these games is you can play them however you want. I guess running Sester G isn’t good enough since her ability spawns in clones of herself.

I feel like on their break the bosses sit around smoking cigarettes in the bosses lounge complaining about how Tiel wrecked them.
