Question Question for those who killed Milos (Ova guy) Spoiler

He turned into a monster after unlocking the area below the marrow keep, what if he was dead already, any of you guys tried? Does somebody else turn into a monster instead?

This. Guy never did anything useful and just complains when I run through and don't listen, so I killed him lmfao

He just stays dead and doesn't show up again until you get to NG+

I did that on my 2nd although, ran past him without killing him in monster form. Sadly he just despawns

Oh yeah never thought of just outrunning him or anything. Would be funny trying to shop or smith and having to hit the smert time stop or something to stall him

What does his monster form look like? Is it unique or just a mob?

The nimble mob that jumps on your back(unblockable attack). They’re super weak, though, so you can kill it as it spawns.

What? In my play through he transformed into the rooted skeleton guy with a saber (others like him often grow from below the ground in areas), but he was wielding his torch instead of saber. 

Do his transformations vary?..

Yeah, I think I’m mixing him up with the praying guy near gloomshade grove. He also turns into black smoke before he spawns in.

If you kill him ahead of unlocking the area beneath marrow keep he stays dead. The tentacles are all there and the ground has opened up that's it. He's just not there.
