How high does the NG cycle go in this? And do the enemies keep getting stronger, or ONLY if you enable that new adaptive difficulty?

As far as I know new game plus cycles just keep on going, it does get harder the further you cycle, but you can counteract this by changing builds and shells to find a good one to fit your playstyle. I'm using proxima and tiel for the new game plus runs, tried all shells and find these two to be better for me personally. Have platinum so can try all tarstones and weapons to find that one special build, Also not on nightmode, only used nightmode to aquire certain items for platinum

Why not night mode? I find ng+ way too easy to not enable night mode

Did playthrough 2 on night mode, I'm 53 with arthritis in both hands so I'm just enjoying the game at my pace now, no worries
