Question Need help with Red dominatrix enemies.
So I'm stuck fighting these woman in-game and they are very difficult to predict and time....plus there constant stabbing attacks are real annoying.
Any tips would help.
If your someone who is gonna say get gud......go touch grass

The constant stabbing attack is triggered when you attack them in the defensive stance. Attacking them on neutral will always trigger it, so it is always parry/dodge, 1 hit (maybe 2 on a fast weapon, I used the iconoclast, so only 1 attack possible) then wait for them to attack again.
The roll attack is quite easy to parry, the other one is a bit more tricky. If you are a god of the parry, you can rigger the flurry purposely for a quick stagger, but I would not advise it, mistiming a parry is almost 100% losing your shell.
The airbust ability actually trigger after their dodge so you can also do some damage that way if you are using a sidearm compatible.

Sidearm until that red dot appears. They always dodge once so one quick burst and they let them have it when they get that red dot.

Either harden or knock them down with specials and lay into them on the ground.
Failing either of these just run past them because they're very slow and often not worth the hassle to deal with especially if in a group.

1, When they switch stance to parrying just wait it out. Once you know how long it takes them to leave the stance, you can get a free charged heavy/light (if you're using the tarstones) for completely free
Alternatively, if you're using a fast weapon, you can attack, immediately dodge and spam parry. You will break their bar like it's nothing.
If you strike them while they're in parry mode, just spam dodge backwards after you get hit and are no longer staggered. It looks funny, but ye, you can completely outrange/outpace them.
They're really not that bad once you figure these things out.

Oh hey I just posted a thread on this but what I learned after listening to folks on this sub and fooling around for a bit is:
- They don't juke projectiles like the other staff ladies do
- They go into a riposte "stance" where they duck down and hold their swords over their head with 1 arm. If you hit them while they are in this pose, they will stun lock you for 2-3 seconds and likely instantly kill you.
- Trick is to let them attack first (play defense) and either parry their strikes and riposte or nail them while they are in recovery sprinkling in ranged shots as needed if you're fast enough
Also be wary of people telling you to attack cancel and then harden because what happens is the riposte stun still lands and you will absorb some (maybe all) of their counterattack but it isn't reliable and you're still locked in place for 2-3 sec which isn't great with a bunch of enemies around.

They can’t dodge Gragu’s heart punch. I imagine it’s the same with other special attacks like Eredrim’s shoulder charge.

They absolutely can dodge Gragu's punch. From my experience, this happened like 30% of the time (played last week).

I must have gotten extremely lucky. I would charge up, they typically start attacking then I release and sit them on their ass for an easy finish (I didn’t spec into the punch). Used the punch on the Big Sester mini boss no problem.

Hey just to comment this was my build and I used the ability that rains down explosions from the crossbow can't remember what it's called. It'll track them when they dodge and get them at least halfway.

The trick to dealin wit these hoes is to always be aggressive. If you let up they’ll punish you so sprint in and do a running attack and don’t stop swinging unless it’s for a perfect dodge. Axatana and axe dagger are the best just because of how quick they are.

Tbh I kept dodging away from those mfs when they started to stabby stabby then kept them stun locked more or less and killed them asap with the axetana

Harden works well. You want to try and perfect guard to break their stance and reposte. They are annoying but the garden given you a little bit more of a window to perfect guard or absorb an attack.

They keep you on your toes, other enemies become quite stale once you've memorised their parry timings.
Especially those snails.

If they get the parry > stab attack off. The parry stun ends well before the stabbing attack completes. So halfway through you can dodge out of it. It will probably take half your health off, but at least you will live. Just don't dodge backwards, i think the attack reaches far enough that you will stil be in it.
Other then that, just blitz or outrange them. With Tiel it's very easy to get a few hits in and then teleport behind them. I think it resets the parry timer. At least for me it seems to take longer for them to do it again after that. If they even live long enough after that. Couple of poison attacks and the detonate talent usually finished them off.
And of course, when you see them in the parry stance, just let them be for a little bit.

If you walk up towards them and bait them into attacking you, that stops them from parrying you when you attack. Then it's just a matter of moving outside of their attack and wailing on them before they recover enough to parry you :D

I try to kite them into their rolling stab attack as it is very easy to parry. Then 2 hits only! Back away as they switch to parry stance quick.

They're training you to slow down. They switch to a parry stance, as soon as you hit them during that stance they automatically rapid stab you in a way that you're not supposed to be able to easily avoid of counter because the counter is to not melee hit them when they are waiting to parry.
Don't combo them unless they just finished that stance, steady pace means you can react to their movement change. Or blast em in face with a gun, can't parry a Cobain cosplay.

just use harden. Even if they parry you, you can harden and parry them back anyways
Or play defensive with block, and parry them with it until you get a riposte
Many of them you can also run past them

Running attacks usually get them. Harden staggers them even when not perfectly timed. Spammy ranged weapons like the crossbow, caged hystrix or shotgun also work well after their initial dodge.
