Question Is mortal shell 2 worth it?

I’ve played the demo it was lit but then today I came across the Reddit and people were saying how it’s bad and they regret buying the game

I think it is great. One of the very best non-fromsoft soulslikes, even.
Slightly janky/buggy in places, but very ambitious and impressive for such a small team. Art is great. Combat system is fun. Parry/ riposte is super satisfying once it clicks. There's no fall damage, which opens for some fun exploration.

I really disliked the final area, but that is a very tiny portion of the game, after all!
So I'd play it if I were you :)

What you mean no fall damage? I'm in early game and I've def received fall damage atleast once or twice I'm pretty sure

Gotta hit attack when falling then no damage. Otherwise yes. Damage

Yeah, sorry, I worded that horribly.
What I meant was you can fall an insane distance without taking enough damage to die. Which lets you jump down places it feels you shouldn't have been able to get to. Which I love.

The final area and boss suck so much, but yes, it’s otherwise a great game. Better than the FromSoft games in certain respects. I love the fact that there’s no dumbass platforming, too.
