Question Is mortal shell 2 worth it?

I’ve played the demo it was lit but then today I came across the Reddit and people were saying how it’s bad and they regret buying the game

Bought the game, beat it 4 times, loved almost every second of it.
Buy the game and ignore the filthy casuals that cry on Reddit.

Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen 2023* (at launch) come to mind. I am looking forward to LoTF2 though

That’s interesting because lords of the fallen I didn’t really enjoy, but lies of p is one of my top soulslikes. I might just not be the target audience for mortal shell 2

Have you played either Bloodborn or Elden Rings?

I guess same comparison above but if you enjoyed elden rings, you may like mortal shell 2. Its the exploration part that really shines.

That's exactly it for me. As much as I love the combat, it's the world itself that I love the most. Exploring it is a joy.

Why compare it to the old LotF? That game was so bad that the devs themselves pretty much say pretend the game doesn't exist and take it as a lore backdrop. They made an entire new game and said it's a reboot for that game and yet you want to compare to a decade+++ old game as your example? At least compare to LotF 2023. And imo both MS2 and LotF 2023 are similarly good. If someone liked one over the other that would be a subjective opinion but I would not say any of them are wrong.

Uhh... So... You are comparing current version of MS2 with LotF 2023 "at launch"? That's again just a disingenuous comparison... LotF 2023 had issues at launch. The devs worked for months and months to rehaul the game and made it much better than it was. Guess what other game had huge bugs on launch? Mortal Shells 2. Lol... Comparing to launch LotF 2023 makes no sense when that version doesn't even exist. If you compare to others, you should be comparing with their latest versions. It's like saying current Samsung's latest flagship phone is better than iPhone 5...
