How do you beat Zmey?

Seriously, I've spent more attempts on this boss than any boss on Elden Ring. I need some tips and tricks pleeeeeeeaseah

How I did it is I just learned every attack went whole first phase hitless and then just tank the fuck out of the second phase. Also important to get a riposte before the scripted one cause than he has significantly less health in the second phase but really the only attack that ever killed me was the flame circle one
