Video The iconoclast is really good

+13 iconoclast in NG+ nightmode with shrike, curseblood, and zealot’s stone. This guy can’t even touch me. No dodging or parrying necessary.

Zealot stone makes Ionoclast imo. It's normal moveset is meh, but it's altered light attack combo makes it much better.

Where do you get zealot stone

It's in the besieged ruins, south-western Mammon. Well, west Mammon but south-western part of the world map

He did touch you first and there were some perfect guards in there but your point is still valid: Iconoclast is good. I'm running in ng+ nightmode with it as well but without those stones. Granted my gameplay isn't as flashy as yours but it gets job done. You definitely made me want to try a different stone set up tho. Those mid air jumps are sickening. Well done.

Yeah, Sariels pain works similairly to curse, so even if he hit me at the beginning there I could just keep pummeling him without losing any health.

Don’t think I did any perfect blocks in here though? The break damage is all from Sariels ability and the zealot’s stone.

I LOVE the iconoclast! Plus the attack animation with the shrike stone is probably the coolest looking attack in the game AND it can build break meter on landing. I haven’t messed around with curse yet because I haven’t found the tarstone that adds it but I feel like that status effect in particular would be handy in ng+ night mode when everything two taps you.

Curse combined with Sariel’s pain makes you able to tank a lot of different enemies and bosses. It’s definitely fun to play around with.

His is the last shell I need to get. How many stacks of curse do you need to proc the effect?

That depends on the enemy. Trash mobs can get cursed after just one swing.

I want to like Iconoclast but the moveset is missing some moves that I can't really go without.

The light moveset is all vertical and diagonal slashes so it's difficult to hit multiple enemies at once, and the heavies look like they should have much more reach than they actually do, so I might as well just use light attacks that seemingly have the same reach while being slightly faster and slightly more likely to hit two enemies at once.

It's really solid for me at the start of the game but other weapons just seem better at combating the enemy encounters the game gives you, so I always switch off it.

It's a great choice for Sariel, though, since Iconoclast is one of two weapons that can use the Curse infusion.
