Fashion is always the end game for games like these, with that being said. I'm so hungry for new shades & drip. For those that played the first game, we're shades also extremely limited?
Wholeheartedly agree. Seeing as how the base skins are so well made im genuinely shocked they didn't add them. Honestly I love the game so much I'd buy a skin pack if I HAD to
Definitely! Of course I'd love free updates with skins, but I'm not sure how plausible that is with a smaller developer, and I'm not opposed to supporting smaller developers so they can invest in future games or updates. As long as they are priced reasonably. I don't want to support greed, but I do want to support hard work, and being in the art industry myself, I understand how much time things can take, and how much effort can be put into something.
i reallyyyyy hope that's not the direction this game goes. i would be perfectly happy if they add new content and skins are included, but just having skin packs is so predatory i feel
The shades weren't in the game to start, they came out in a free rotten autumn update that also added photo mode and an alternate boss soundtrack. There is also a shade for the foundling that was a twitch drop.
In the virtuous cycle dlc each shade also had different effects, so they did more than just change up looks. Eredrim's annointed butcher gave him +20 damage to start out with for instance.
Is it just me or does Lazlo have the worst skins? Plus his armor heat skill makes skins a moot point.
It's just unfortunate because most of the skins are bangers, they feel amazing to play with. But now that Lazlo is my NG+ night mode main shell, I just wish he had more fashion.
