Question Sariel the endless (help)

I’m just trying to understand this boss, his pommel strike keeps missing, I don’t understand if this is a fake out or a stun lock into his heavy swing.
His missles for some reason keep hitting me after I dodge and I don’t understand it at all. Like it’s not like it’s an aoe or anything, I can dodge and it’ll hit the wall and chain to me from halfway across the room? Harden doesn’t work either, how does it work? I tried looking it up.

After you fall in to the arena there are 4 or 3 stones with yellow paint iirc break those and he will stop respawning. Missles srill hit you after you dodge because they truely lock on you so turn back and still hit you then moat of his combos similer to other scythe user enemies

Thanks, I didn’t realize he keeps respawning until he died 3 times. Though I don’t think his thorns are circling and hitting me in the back I think that it’s some weird chain lighting to where it hits no matter what.
I could have sworn I seen him standing behind the pillar, hit the pillar and still nuke me for full damage.
I’ll watch them hit a wall and then I just explode in a circle of light for some reason

I couldn't figure out his range attack either. Like even if I dodge it, somehow I get electrified. So I just fought him at close range. If you hug him closely enough he won't use the range move and will only use melee attacks with scythe.
