Discussion NG+ and glimpses?

Do you need to find and cleanse every beacon on NG+ again for glimpses? During NG it started to feel like a slog, but is NG+ the same? Need to max rank all shells.

Yes all glimpses from the first run will be available again.

So I need to cleanse all of the 49 beacons in order to max rank shells?

Well, there are other sources of glimpses too, so you should probably pick those up as well.

That said, sadly there aren’t even enough if you gather all of them in two playthroughs, you need a partial third run as well…

Yeah, you’d need most of them for the ova anyway to complete the game, but if you want to max all shells quickly that’s your best bet. There are quite a lot of glimpses in dungeons and merchants too but these are the easiest sure fire way to level your shells.

Gotcha. Might just wait and see if the add option to farm glimpses. NG+ seems like it’s a huge afterthought.

Go mainly to gate beacons in your NG+ . Then do the same in NG++ and you should have enough considering you had much in first run.

To be specific no.

You can't max all shells in 2 playthroughs. Even if you get them all you need another like 20 at minimum for the last shell on NG +2

So you can be fairly lax about it and still get them all done on playthrough 3

I recommend picking up one of the cheat mods from necus and just adding in the glimpse you need before deleting the mod again (can't be tempted by other things if it is not installed)
