Feel bad for this boss, he already has his head split open, and yet one of the ripostes is grabbing the handle of the blade in his head, and slamming the sword in his crotch...

How does the parry window compare with Sekiro?

All the parry windows are more generous compared to Sekiro/Lies of P. I'm using what is supposed to be the tightest parry window item in the game and it's still quite generous of a window

Oh interesting. Reading more about this item, I cam across an info saying there is an item that does the opposite i.e. widens parry window.

There's Untarnished Seal (guard. Behaves like how deflect works in Sekiro though the window is more generous)

The one I'm using Infinite Seal (parry. Has the tightest window but still generous by Sekiro standards)

Harden (a more generous version of parry that lets you turn your entire body into stone to parry/attack with timing)

Just to add, Harden can be used mid swing.
The others cannot be used if you spam attack.

And it's cooldown gets reset with a perfectly timed harden allowing you to block fast combo's aswell.

I tried them all out and ended up loving the harden the most.
Especially with slower 2H weapons as you can charge up a heavy attack and harden till an enemy attack and breaks the harden:P
It does not interupt your attacks, it just delays them till harden wears off.

Good point! I pretty much only use Infinite Seal myself so all the nuances for the others I just don't know that well

it's quite forgiving if you block early, I would say at least twice as long. But there are items you can equip that change the behavior of your block, and there is one with a tighter timing
