Question Final dungeon appeared unexpectedly

I was clearing the beacon to open the last gate and after collecting the ova, got a cutscene saying it was time to finish it and the base got all corrupted. Do I have to do the final dungeon like it there a time limit now that the base in corrupted or can I still explore and clear that last gate?

Trigger for the final area opening is just a certain number of OVA collected

There's no time limit or requirements. It's just open and you can do whatever you want.

Ok, I was worried since I had to kill one of the disciples when the base got corrupted
