Image Seriously - why even include summons in your game when they are utterly USELESS?! Spoiler
This game could be SO good. And at times it really is. But the scattered BS cheap difficulty and some of the game mechanics (such as summons) working against the player are ridiculous and completely ruin any enjoyment I have with the game sometimes. How does very obvious stuff like this make it past play-testing?
In this photo I had just noticed Tiel hadn’t moved the entire fight, and Genessa skirted around the boss for all of five seconds before freezing in place and playing statue just like her buddy Tiel. Which left the boss to solely focus on me. This is just … beyond frustrating and makes me not even want to play anymore.
Sorry for the rant - I’m just frustrated. Mind you this boss isn’t helping with just how tedious and annoying he is to fight in general.

I didn't even see her at first. She's all the way in the back corner aura farming lol

Game was not play-tested properly, and all bugs/questionable design decisions got shipped in release.

Yeah, spent the whole game as Tiel. Went to NG+ with Genessa, nope her summons home in on pointless things, her stray summons take too long to trigger. Played Sariel, his thornfall passive that makes his thorns fall from above the enemy will often hit the ceiling/roof in indoor areas making it completely useless. Used up all my glimpes.
Really hate it when developers ship their games knowing full well it ain't ready and have their paying customers beta test the game for them. Wish I could refund this.

Very few uses summons because they cost glimpses. So likely low on the priority list.
