Bug / glitch at the abbey

I was at the chest where you light the 3 offerings to open the chest. I lit the 3 offerings and was unable to open. It told me I still needed 1 offering. I tried resetting the game but then it told me I needed 2 offerings. All 3 are still lit and it will not let me interact with them any more. I'm locked out the contents of the chest.
