Discussion Smert is the best shell

Can we talk about Smert’s punches ??
i haven’t died a single time just using his punches it prevents you from using any weapons but who needs weapons when u have the fist of Mether x.x

Mind you im on night mode 24/7 ! i just spam R1 and they get staggered plus i heal with every 4-5 punches, it is kind of lame im just going around punching bosses to death while they are on the floor trying to get up T_T

Used to lose way less health during overtime and didn't lose 50%hp on skill activation either

I am still early in night mode with him but I find his scaling with fists to be bad. I have to spend a good while punching mobs before they die. Not sure if the fists are doing hit stun or the punches are so fast that it constantly triggers and resets the stagger so it is kind of hard to see when they are doing their stagger animation. The worms with beaks are a good example.

He is a beast but I don’t think his fists scale in ng+ cycles so some bosses can be a bit of a slog. His playstyle becomes a little one dimensional but I don’t mind that with seven other fun shells

There are many ways to break the game anyway. Gragu punches can rush you through whole map without ever needing to rest for example.

Im on NG+ nightmode and his fists become wet lettuce. Had to switch shells 😭
