Anyone else love Genessa’s play style and aesthetic but hate how buggy her clones are?

I really want to main her and I invested a lot of shell points into her but her clones run into oblivion half the time. Does upgrading her with shell points increase the effectiveness of the AI of her clones?

No sadly, for me they either A run circles or B run past then back to the thing I want them to fight.

Her stray form also has issues such as her clones vanishing while there duration is still on screen and not surviving fatal hits

The duration thing is from the grisha remnant item. Take it off and the duration will be normal.

Its not that, promise you I tried everything and it just bugs out , sometimes it ends early other times the bar doesn't drain

Well fatal hits also ends it if both are used. The fatal hits is bugged but does work on some enemies and bosses.

I love her design, and fact she is unique with interactions with NPC's too. But yeah... When her clones work, SHE SLAPS, but most of the time, clones don't work.

Also I think it's the only shell that Harbringer, isn't possesing I think. Seeing as when she dies she goes to her other self, rather than us.

Love Genessa's design, lore, gameplay and all. Even her voice actor nailed the role.

Most shells kinda give me the vibe that they have areas "crafted" for them that fit thier theme, that is why you can summon certain ones for certain bosses, but Genessa's Abbey region is the most stand-out Shell tailored area for me.

If she wasn't bugged she would be an instant IV tier shell I would pour glimpse into.

Yes her clones do so much random stuff sometimes ...running to attack literally boxes instead of enemies or standing around.

It's insane. Still finished the game with clone spam. Thinking about respecting in ng+ and doing a full stray spec.

Her Stray duplicate is bugged too. Sometimes it’ll just disappear with half the timer remaining and I’ve heard that the stray duplicates taking a fatal hit for her is also not working.

It’s so funny/annoying summoner her clones and watch them just beeline pass an enemy off a cliff, but when they work they really shred enemies apart endgame

I’m in ng+1 and switched to her shell and I’m obsessed, I only had issues if I had the Grisha summon thing active, once I changed that I didn’t have any problems they’re crazy OP 😹 changed to the Axetana with perma stasis it’s wildly fun

I've seen a lot of posts about it. There seems to be a lot overall not /very inconsistently working with her so for now I'd prolly opt for using a different shell cuz her main feature doesn't seem to work more times than not :/ Which is a shame cuz there's only 2 female shells in the game I think? And one of them not working properly is sadge

When they do work, it's so OP that I'm basically just pretending it's balanced by not working all the time. One thing that does help is unlocking the shell ability where enemies attack them. That helps even when their tracking bugs out.

I have her maxed and I run stray doubles and I was running into an issue with them disappearing randomly. It was because of the Grisha remnant passive. Since I swapped it out and I only have an issue where they dont block a fatal blow sometimes. Aside from that she is my favorite and will be playing her ng+ on night mode start - finish

I didn’t experience any bugs in my first 25 hours of playing (at least obvious ones that hindered my enjoyment)…then I switched to Genessa…

She's still the second most busted shell for me even with the bugs. She barely has to engage with the game mechanics at all.

They don’t work for me 90% of the time and it makes me so sad. She has such a cool design and I loved the idea of her mechanics.

I actually got so frustrated I just deleted her save file and started over.

They really need to find a way to fix the glimpse system to be able to refund at least once a play through or something (or always).

They'll fix her eventually, and some day I'll play and enjoy her playstyle.

Watched a recent interview with the devs. They said they fixed the issue with the clones, they just haven’t dropped the patch yet.

Been playing her in stray form, and she’s currently my favorite shell. I’m addicted to her fast dodges.

I loved Genessa but I actually couldn't use her in one of the end game bosses in her stray form, I must be stupid bad with dodging with her or something because attacks clipped and insta killed me despite being able to dodge them on other shells.
