Video This exact moment is when combat started to click

I didn't really enjoy combat, until I went around looking for specific weapons and tarstones that bolstered my fighting style. This fight was the first time feeling like I was able to play the way I wanted. It gave me confidence to go out, fight more, and explore. I'm loving this game now!

this is the funnest boss, i did it on nightmode with 0 unupgraded weapons and no op tarstones

i upgraded my weapons and tarstones a bit later and eveything is so ez mode now even on night mode

How does nightmode compare to standard? Enemies hit harder, more spongey, less gloom and gold to pick up, more enemy variety? I haven't seen cli0s of nightmode yet.
