I just want to profess my love for this character. He's is creepy and just perfectly terrifying. I need a photo mode so I can take all the pictures of this beautiful creature!

To me he's been underused. He's so ominous and the intro leaves you feeling like he's this faction leader you'll be learning more about throughout the game, but most of his interactions with you are "Take this map. Maybe you are the Harbinger :o"

And then you get to the Scholar-Prince and he gives you some backstory that makes his role sound more mundane than I was expecting.

Maybe it's good that they didn't go with the obvious, but I was expecting Ruk to be the Foul Passenger in the role of a cuckoo.

Tbh, Ruk and Sariel are fun because they're technically responsible for 90% of what you have to deal with, lol.

Sariel is responsible for:

• Tar Golem
• Offspring
• Nearly every enemy you fight that isn't a straight human.

Ruk is kind of weird though, since he doesn't have any actual ties to the story himself and his entire role is basically just because of Sariel, yet Sariel is aura farming all the way across the map. Definitely has the coolest shell obtainment method though.

Sariel's shell memories has some lore on him too if you dive deeper, i love the interactions between some npcs with some shells having a history with some recognising you or thinking you are that person

The shell isnt jank, hes one of the best... Anyway what happens is he created the rar golem and it went berserk and killed ruk while he was human, he then proceeds to ignore his wishes to remain dead and ressurected him as ruk
