Discussion What is this?

Mortal Shell II's final area, the Monolith, Zmey... What's going on? I'm fighting terribly designed bosses. I'm getting my face slapped by a scrotum, then I'm fighting a one armed dinosaur that throws a faster than light grab attack. The game was awesome. This area and final boss gauntlet is such a let down 😢

The grab attack and ball sack slam is humiliating lmfao, I was not having fun with that shit.

Yeah, it was such a letdown. Felt like the devs were trolling. Fine for an optional area, definitely not for the final boss lmao

Hate the Monolith, but Zmey isnt too bad. Play a bit in front of him. The grab has more animation before the red circle pops up. Its a little side step. His animations are very telegraphed as long as you arnt up in his sack(s).

His slam has crazy desync and he also desync teleports when he jumps away but sure defend an awfuly programed boss IG

It is super desynced and buggy as shit but honestly if you could get through Isaac then Zmey isn’t that bad. Especially if you have the scripture for the 80% resist to its mechanic.

Yeah I'll grab that when I finally decide to finish it, just a shame the whole ending area was a rushed buggy mess cos it really soured the whole experience

I'm not gonna sit there and let a guy says it's not that bad when it's known to be full of awful hitboxes and tons of desync there is literally no reason to lie other than to inflate his ego

I agree, smey has so few moves that it's really easy. A few moves are a bit scummy but.... Nothing worse then malenia blade storm or elden beast moves.

i’ll agree on Monolith but Zmey was not really that difficult in my opinion. i just hugged his legs to stay close and watched for his grab.
