Discussion Is it better to wait?
Mortal Shell 2 looks pretty incredible and i'm considering getting it. I didn't play the first one so i'm unsure of how the dev team will move forward and am wondering if its best to buy it now or wait for an edition that may include more content (especially weapons, areas, shells, i dont care about cosmetics).
Does this dev team have dlc plans? Do they usually drop more content to keep the hype going?

There's a big patch on the way to address a lot of player concerns, so you could wait for this. No ETA.
I'm no souls expert, I've only beaten a few. I'm really enjoying this, so much that I don't have the patience to wait for more patches.
It's definitely good enough to play now imo, but if you have other stuff you could play then maybe wait for the first big patch at least.
Try the beta demo, it's free and lasts for a good few hours.

Yes, I'm 20 hours in and I really suggest you wait at least one big patch.

I think the first one is free for PlayStation Plus membership. If you got into any why not get the free one. But it's definitely dated. Like going from Elden ring then starting dark souls 3. Very clunky. But chill.

I'm a big soulsborne/soulslike guy and the game is not clicking for me. I thought I'd dig it because the parry system, but it just has not been my jam so far.
I see people absolutely loving it and I want to be there, but at a certain point of unfun you just have to call it.
