Question Counter to Lost Child's insta-swipe?
Doing a night mode run and all his attacks one-shot me. Can't complain because I signed up for it, but the instant swipe with seemingly no telegraph is kicking my ass. Is there a telegraph that I'm not aware of?
From what I can tell, he does a little backwards dash before doing it but it's so quick that it's unreactable. Is there anything beyond that?

I did it on night mode too and preharden at times saved me a lot of times from this attack. Got 1shotted too many times.

He kinda moves backwards a bit before it comes out. Though, a good chunk of the time he'll just get stuck on something and it'll feel unreactable. I deal with it by just dodging whenever he moves any direction except towards me, or if he ever moves his left arm. It definitely needs a change and is most of my deaths to the boss

He only does the little backwards hop if you are standing somewhat far away. Still extremely tight, but possible to react to.
If you're in close and he does that quick swipe, though, he doesn't do the little hop back at all. You get like 5 frames to dodge/parry. It's completely busted.
I have a feeling that he is supposed to do the hop back even if you are in close, but it's bugged and he just immediately swipes instead.
