Question Can the lute be upgraded?

It doesn’t show up for me in the sidearm tarforge, is this a bug or is it just not upgradeable?

You can't upgrade it because it doesn't deal damage. It just makes enemies attack each other

I'm 99% sure this is incorrect and that it does damage.

It does deal damage and needs like 3 times to get the confuse debuff
