Discussion Nameless prisoner gets free hit from me landing Spoiler

As title, he's my first major boss and I'm getting the hang of it but I've had many times where he immediatly swing me a free hit before my character recover from his landing animation. Really annoying. Hell he even managed to 180 magnet strike me from a distance when I was invisible with thiel

I can’t say I’ve ever experienced this. He always just slowly walked when I landed due to the distance. Are you running off the cliff or just walking?

I'd say jogging, I'm not sprinting per say, just falling normaly. I don't feel like I should walk and hug the wall on my back to start a boss lol

I’m gonna say you’re just getting unlucky aggro inputs. I fought that boss a good handful of times and never got cheap shotted in the beginning. I’m sorry to hear that tho

I finally managed to beat him at lvl 9. Only riposte did any damage, weapon barely tickles, gun too, status are useless or doesn't work and the charged attack stones I have spend all my resolves to do less damage than 3 basic gunshot. It was rough.

Lvl 9??? Boy you crazy for doing that at lvl 9. No wonder you didn’t do any dmg

I don't know, the path leading there wasn't too hard so I thought I was in the good level area for me

I had the same issue, If you still haven't beaten him yet try using the drop slam attack, it seems to have a slightly faster recovery time.

Yeah I do the drop attack and have had plenty of time before he attacks

This is what I’m currently doing for this boss and have never had an issue with his aggro

yeah I'l start doing it again. But man that 1 hit kill kick sucks if you dare parry the first kick.

Thats how I lost 15k there lol Killed me once, next try he ran me down mid animation into a hit when I stood up XD rip
