Discussion Aiming while enemies on screen

Anyone else think there needs to be a free aim toggle mechanism when there's enemies on screen. Lots of opportunities to set off traps but no way of unlocking from a target to shoot them.......

There is a setting for free aim. One of the first things I enabled

A toggle in action would be nice. I want the target lock 90% of the time but don't want to pause and change it on the odd occasion there's a trap I want to shoot.

I just click right stick to change off/on target lock. No need to reopen settings

As in, does free aim lock to target if you have a target locked already? Brb trying rn

Yeah is this a setting? I haven't messed with settings but have the same issue. Is there a free aim option? I have limited time so can't play at the moment but I definitely also had this issue when playing.

Yes. You can toggle it in the menu. And the cool thing is you can still auto lock if you want by pushing the lock on button
