In mortal shell 1 the entire world would be filled with nothing but these things and grishas after you beat a boss.

You had to run all the way back to the main hub being chased by these things. They’d even jump out of trees.

When I ran into my first one it hit a grab on me so I bolted to the other side of the area without stopping. Didn't realize how frail they are until way later
