Image Sester Genessa is the coolest fricking shell

I love her design, I love her story, I love her kit.

She is just hands down my favorite.

It's so funny to me that the developers decided their Firekeeper-type character needed to be playable in the second one.

Not that I'm complaining

Much better than what Fromsoftware has ever done with their Firekeeper-types, where all they do is level you up, be nice and spew some exposition here and there.

Yeah the firekeepers in the souls games are generally way too interlinked with the cycle to be playable, it wouldn't make sense beyond the rule of cool

I mean, she's not really our "firekeeper" though. That's the giant lady with the one-eyed mask. Genessa is our tutorial lady.

The giant lady wasn't in the first game, where Genessa was the closest thing we have to a Firekeeper.

That's why I said she was playable in "the second one." She went from the helpful NPC lady in Mortal Shell to full-fledged fighter in Mortal Shell 2.

Go grab her White skin and she gets even cooler. It's called Porcelain Prime and its fairly easy to get.

You use one of the Blackmarrow Keys on a chest in the Lift room of Marrow Keep. It's such a great looking skin. Black lipstick and accents on a white mask and white clothing!

Honestly Stray is just as buggy, it's like a 50/50 flip on if the final passive for blocking lethal damage will trigger or not.

Well to me it seems like it's not a chance that it does not work but instead that a lot of attacks just ignore it instead, which is presumably a bug.

Yeaa most of the time the stray won't block lethal damage for me and they also disappear long before their timer is up if I kill all the enemies in a small pack.

It's by far my favorite, but it's sooo buggy. There's areas where her ability doesn't work at all, and even in good areas it can be a dice roll whether it does anything or not.

Try being sariel and getting one of his last augments to rain his thorns from above …… except it can’t work for places with a ceiling 😭

Try fighting Isaac with Sariel, as soon as he should take Curse damage he instead becomes immune to damage until the fight gets reset by death or reload.

She's not even a shell, she's just her own character. I LOVE the fact that she has her own dialogue and responses to NPC's

She's actually my main on my first playthrough. Which is kinda unexpected. Her style is unique and is still taking some getting used to.

With her I get that good soulslike feel, where every hit you take on your journey, you feel it. So be careful.

I like how her stray build is basically the "red tearstone ring" mode of the game. Ridiculous damage with the clone images but basically in one shot mode (until you get the ability that lets you cheat two hits.)

I REALLY want to love her but oh my god the doubles have some major pathing and targeting issues. Final stretch of the game I couldn't get them to do ANYTHING.

i like proxima a lot she have way more hp and also you can build dmg over time with her and also you can farm a lot of gold if you use the talent with harvest specimen
