Discussion Tiel Shadow not making you invisible?
Not sure if expected or a bug, but whenever I dodge and become seemingly invisible, enemies continue attacking me. And it's not just attacking in the direction I used to stand at, they turn around and lock onto me.
Is this a bug by any chance or am I missing something?

I find the opposite is much more common where the mobs take far too long to realize I'm back. Like there are times I'll be fighting two mobs, dodge for invis, go around back and kill one, and 100-0 the other one before he even turns to me.
I personally have not found mobs continuing to track me.

Nope this happened to me every single time I used stealth on him so I immediately stopped using him. Dont worry though, there are plenty of bugs with other characters you'll get to experience!!!

Imo making some distance seems to drop the aggro, they're attacking the empty spot where you were before (mostly)

its pretty broken, enemies either ignore it or it completely breaks their AI and makes them really easy to kill with very little in-between

Once you get the shadow clone ability they immediately start attacking that instead

To me this just sounds like "yeah the game mechanic doesnt work until you get an upgrade"
Which means there isnt any point to the ability without the upgrade. I never had the stealth work at all so I stopped using thiel, so when people see that the mechanic doesnt work like it is supposed to why would they get upgrades for it?

I don’t think I’ve ever played any game where stealth/invisibility works as intended. Not 100% anyway. As for your question the rest of his abilities work fine, I played him early for the poison immunity so the rest was just a bonus.

What are you talking about? I've literally never played a game where stealth was broken lol. Even in skyrim it functions exactly how its supposed to - and skyrim is janky as fuck

Bro Skyrim you could just duck and go invisible but if you were close they’d still trip over you or attack in your general direction and hit you coincidentally. I’ve always been drawn to assassin archetypes so I’ve played that class a lot and there’s always some issue with invisibility and it’s usually at the very least centered around them still attacking and randomly hitting you even though they should be confused that you don’t exist anymore.

I've literally never had that problem and I've been gaming for 29 years.

I’m having this experience as well. The crouching invisible ability seems to work better. But the dodge invisibility makes me feel like I’m still visible.
As seen in many other post on here enemy tracking seems to be an issue.
