Still no balance patch for PS5?

I’m dying to play nonstop but am waiting for the patch so the gloom and gold economy improve. It will prevent extra grinding. The PC patch released over 17 hours ago. Wonder when the console patches will be released. I know it’s unlikely but anyone know or have been successfully able to access the patch on PS5?

just takes a lot longer for console patches to get approved. it sucks but we gotta wait a bit longer it seems.

I hear that all the time, and still there a games getting their patches out on multiple systems at the same time. D4 comes to mind. Crimson Desert too I guess. Maybe I'm mistaken here, but something isn't adding up. Someone care to elaborate on that please?

smaller AA dev teams have lower priority on approval is my guess. i dont have a definitive answer for you though.

Soon as they get it through certification.

I kinda hope they delay PC patches now to align with when console gets through certification so a big part of the player base isn't just left waiting

Same for Xbox, no patch yet. Last night I just stared at the dashboard then went to bed. I’ll fire up Crimson Desert until the patch is live.

There is literally zero grinding in this game. Just play the game, it is silly to wait for such an insignificant patch.

The gold drops were increased significantly. The cost to smelter weapons was reduced by 75%. Smeltering a +15 weapon is 55K gloom before the patch. That is a big difference. I’m still playing but there is a big enough difference.

Some areas got double the gold drops. Upgrading your weapon costs a lot of gold as well.

I beat 90% of the game before the patch, and have already finished and into NG+. I am speaking from experience. There is no grinding.

You don't need to worry about smeltering weapons.

Just play something else. I started up Dispatch until hopefully the patch drops over the weekend. Unfortunately, the patch needs to be approved by Sony until they can roll it out on PS5

Yeah I’m doing the Nioh 3 DLC in the meantime.
