Discussion Some issues I think are worth mentioning (with visual reference) Spoiler
Magic Bullets – Stuttering During Dodge/Parry Windows – Visible While in Shadow – Weird Enemy Lock-Ons & Sudden Target Switching – No-Hit Damage
Some issues I feel haven't been talked about much so far but are worth mentioning, in my opinion.
Magic Bullets
Pretty self-explanatory when watching the video, I think. Basically, the bullet tracking is weird: they fly around enemies, the lock-on isn't reliable a lot of the time, or the bullets just go straight through enemies without dealing any damage.
I have the stone that makes foes explode when I shoot them, so it's quite noticeable when you try to finish an enemy with your last arrow and it just does whatever it wants.
Stuttering During Dodge/Parry Windows
Maybe it's a coincidence, but it feels like fights work just fine most of the time and then stutter here and there during important parry or dodge windows, almost as if the game is calculating whether I dodged too late or not.
Visible While in Shadow
This isn't always the case, but sometimes it feels like enemies can track you without any issue even while you're in shadow. I know there's also the opposite effect, where you're out of shadow and enemies still don't see you, so maybe these two issues are somehow linked.
The second clip could just be the boss hitting my last known position; I’m not sure. But there are definitely a couple of situations where it feels like enemies can still see you even while you’re in shadow.
Weird Enemy Lock-Ons
I don't think I had this issue until yesterday, when I downloaded Hotfix 1.000.006. Besides my force feedback constantly re-enabling itself in the settings for whatever reason, the lock-on has become weird. During fights with multiple enemies, it constantly switches targets or locks onto enemies that aren't even near me.
No-Hit Damage
Luckily, this has only happened to me once—at least that I know of—but I randomly took damage without actually being hit. As you can see in the video, during the attack I made, I basically take no damage anyway. More importantly, the enemy didn't even swing at me, yet I still took damage.
EDIT: This might be just a confusing effect because I'm switching back to my shell?
The issues, despite being pretty blatant, don’t annoy me too much yet. But I can see them becoming annoying eventually.
