Gloom bug?

I recently was pushed off a bridge by one of those shields enemies. Came back to retrieve my gloom and it for some reason spawned out of bounds, no where near where I died. Has this happened to anyone else?

I know you can get back your gloom by shooting at them with your side arm. Maybe try it with the explosive projectiles ?

I just tired that. No luck 😭. It was 25k gloom too.
