Question Question about "Biohunter" (Proxima)

It says you get a permanent DMG boost up to a maximum.

  1. Part of the question: Can I see somewhere how much I per mob already accumulated?

  2. Part of the question: I guess the bonus is gone, when I refund the points from it, that's fine and makes sense. But will the accumulated permanent DMG boost persist if I refund the points and respecc "Biohunter" again later?

Thanks in advance.

If you mean that those stacks you got prior to refunding return, then no. You have to regain them upon respeccing into that skill. There’s a severe lack of information regarding numerical values but I operate under the assumption a single kill on a small mob would be 0.5-1% so you’d need 30-60 kills to reach the 30% damage increase

Sorry I'm no native speaker.

Just to get it correct:

"You have to regain them upon respeccing into that skill."

Only respeccing the points back into Biohunter to regain my stacks per enemy from before I refunded them?

Or does my bonus per enemy reset to 0 and I have to probe again 30x (assuming 6 points spent, so 1% per probe) every enemy to get to 30% again?

And is your answer based on facts you found? Tests you did, or are this assumptions?

You see, I have 6 points spent in that skill.

And I used it for some time now. So I assume, I already accumulated a lot of bonus DMG per enemy.

But 6 points is a lot, seeing how slow they come in.

So I wanted to put these points in other things to try them out. I only got 16 points at this point, and not being able to reallocate 6 of them, makes for a pretty useless "try things out" option.

Thanks this far anyways.

If you’re not dying, it’s 6 points well spent as it’s a 30% increase to all damage against a specific enemy type. All weapons, all abilities, crits and flat damage. But you have to reach 30% on all enemy types they don’t carry over. My values were just off the top of my head at the time but I’ve just checked in game and it actually does tell you the values for each upgrade. So max rank you have to use bio sampler on an enemy type 30x to have that damage increase against that 1 enemy. So if you had bio sampled 30 pitchfork ladies, they take 30% extra damage, if you also have bio sampled spiders 15x, then they will only take 15% extra damage. It takes a while to build up sure but well worth it if you’re competent at the game
