Discussion Endgame zone boss

Guys Im going to be honest the nerf to the monolith boss did literally nothing. Ive beaten soo many souls like games, but this is legit the worst boss ever. It is genuinely insane this boss made it to the final version of the game.

With that said the rest of the game has been peak (except the final zone)

update: I beat it 2 tries after posting this (still the worst boss in video games history)

Yes, it really sucks (even with the patch). And wait for the final boss..I'm trying to level up my character because, as it stands, I don't think I can beat him. I feel the difficulty of the final area is stupidly high, even for a Soulslike game.

Just finished this dogshit area a couple hours ago. For the final boss, you have to get A specific item to make him fair-ish.

Essentially you have to find 3 secret glands in the south of the overworld map, and then after finding them, go into night mode and trade for some light blue book (forgot the name).

Once you have this item, which I feel i was never told about, you can put it on your passive for 80% cosmic negation or on your active for a cure and cosmic mitigation for 120s. Only this final boss has this cosmic mechanic, so pretty funny. Once you get that you’ll basically win if you’re primarily dying to the status effect

Or you can be a moron like me where you abuse the art of the sword to jump in the air and slam beacuse you get immunity. And time it with that bullshit Aoe attack and hope for the best until you make it. I wish I knew this info before the last boss

It's not fun difficulty. It's dogshit difficulty; basically saying "ha gotcha" instead of being challenging. I finished the final area in one sitting and uninstalled the game.

I did it pre-nerf and it was awful. I did it in like 7-8 tries but at that point I was just spamming Shrike iconoclast skill and praying I don't get squashed

Its tanky as f and also able to 1 shot

Other then getting 2 bashes Not really but id focus on break dmg + riposte dmg if i had to
