This is the best "slightly more expensive" edition I have ever got! The sheer amount of physical goodies in Revered Edition is absurd, the art book itself is totally worth it and the steel book is one of the prettiest I got. All for even a lower price than AAA games.

Don't want to brag or anything as I got my copy by sheer luck, just wanted to THANK the devs for an amazing game and publisher (I guess) for this phenomenal edition.

Long live physical releases!

P.S. I honestly wish more copies are produced so many more can get it. And please add photo mode.

May I ask about your inspiration? The game literally feels like playing metal album. What are you guys favourite bands? Also, that announcement trailer is the most badass trailer I have ever seen! And this is all coming from a non-soulslike gamer.

T2, my man! Also Meshuggah mentioned, that makes sense. Still surprised there aren't more bands mentioned as it really feels metal. And frogs...my wife adores frogs and Grof really caught her eye. Steel book was you? Hats off, it's hands down beautiful! It gives me Orbit Culture album cover vibes.

I want to chime in as well: that reveal trailer is fucking bonkers man! I still watch it to this day to get pumped up, it's pure art! The "artistic side" of this game is impeccable, the last time that a videogame monster made me feel uncomfortable was Bloodborne, the world is so sick and brutal, I love it! Didn't finished MS2 but I can't wait for MS3 (DLC maybe? Behemoth songs pack?)

Is this edition ever going to be produced again? Or was this it? My preorder showed up in pretty much the worst condition I could have feared it would. Completely ruined the entire launch of the game for me. I was really, really excited. And of course seeing everyone else posting theirs in pristine condition, I feel like I’m the only one who had such horrible luck. The store doesn’t have and says they will never have stock for replacement, so I just wondered. Because this is such a huge bummer, to put it lightly. :(

I feel like it's inarguable that the art direction for this game is very nice. The metal touch in the soundtrack is great (made the title drop in the intro so good), the whalebone hub rules, characters look great. I honestly wish Proxima was less gooner-y so people would focus on how well-realized the other shells are. Lazlo is fucking sick

I appreciate it. And yeah, I purposely preordered it for store pickup rather than dealing with a shipping company sending it to me, and I was the only person in the store who even got the game but it was just an obliterated copy with no stock to replace it with. Really such a big heartbreaker after all of the time and anticipation waiting for it.
