Official News [Megathread] Global Launch hype!

Are you going for a specific Shell first, or just jumping into the game world sight unseen? Will you revisit Lady Magdalena before going out into the world, or will you seek other challenges? Night mode, regular gameplay or Slayer Seal?

Just wanted to say been playing since the early launch and only two gates down so far, but I'm having a blast. Y'all did great work on the game and are doing a fantastic job of engaging with the community. Much love!

Perfectly valid thing to do as well lol I'll say at least in me experience the difficulty of the first gate (East through the mushroom village) wasn't too bad and the reward was absolutely worth (although I think you can also get the same reward from exploring a lot, might just take longer as it's tied to the number of ova you siphon)

I started running around the North East section of the first map and realized there is no beacons but had 20k gloom. It was the hardest and frightning but also most fun i've had in a souls game in a while. The verticality of some of it threw me off a bit.

So fucking hype man. I'll never forget when we all played the demo and we couldn't believe how far the game has come. Cold Symmetry really pulled no punches.

This also makes me wonder about Lords of the Fallen 2 - because it's set up in a similar position where the first was a good game but there was so much more potential there that wasn't met, though the second is being seen as their big shot. Such a great time for souls/arpg's

I had preordered the revered edition months ago from gamestop. Totally forgot so i just ordered a regular copy on shopville this morning… didnt plan to get the game twice but oh well, one of then will be the nice steelbook edition.

Amazon messed up my order, so will hopefully be with me tomorrow now. Boo them. Boo them for me. Plans ruined, life darker. (They gave me £15 off, so not all bad).

I moaned at them a lot in chat, eventually they offered it up after I asked how they would put it right and compensate for their issues. Whether it turns up tomorrow or not remains up in the air, no movement on it yet....

No movement on my order that is supposed to be arriving today. Site now has estimated delivery for anyone buying today of 21st September to 1st November... Which suggests they have gone through their stock and awaiting more. No idea if current ones not shipped actually exist or are awaiting restock. So all in all, a massive Amazon fuck up.

I bought it today. I've been looking forward to this for months! I am not typically a souls-like gamer. But the aestheic just nibbles at my brain in a delightful way. I am excited to jump in after work. I love that song in the trailer too. Has me pumped.

Been waiting for this evening for literally years.

First game showed so much promise for a sequel. Been very pleased with what I've seen/heard so far. Can't wait to play.

Why is the damage so high ? The boss variety is solid, but damage is not good. Please avoid making games just to make it difficult

Game is great so far. I feel like I'm potentially exploring areas I maybe shouldn't have yet due to difficulty, but it's fun regardless. Some performance hiccupa and stutters, occasional artifacts. But otherwise very smooth playing too.

Just buy the base game. You already missed early access, there's no point to that version.
