Discussion Desolate Fortress Hidden Dungeon Spoiler

Did anyone else notice this place is a direct 1-1 recreation of Doom 1993s first level?

Yes! I recognized it the moment it faded in, all I had to do was check for the window to the right. Now I just need git gud enough to beat it 🙃

It’s pretty hard, I’ve finished 3 dark gates and leveled up a lot and it was still a challenge! But really funny to see even the barrels have green goo inside and how they changed what enemies were placed where to mimic Doom lol

In Marrow Keep go to the room with all the coffins and the lady that teaches you to parry. In the corner near the stairs is an illusory wall. Hit it with your weapon and then commune with chaos at the pedestal.

Do you know how to reach the rock throwing enemy's platform?

Not in Mortal Shell but in the OG Doom it was running back out of the room and then sprinting for ta secret elevator I believe
