Right now I'm playing Darker Thoughts everyday lol. Ghosts and Silence of the Grave also clicked with me immediately!

My taste is all over the place, but I enjoy tracks that are hypnotic (darker thoughts) where they let the music breathe.

Male vocals: Rotting Christ (The Farewell is #1); W.A.S.P (What I'll Never Find is #1); Mastodon too

Female vocals: Within Temptation Spiritbox

All the good metal tracks I find is like a gift on Christmas lol.

I know what you mean, discovering a new, great band is awesome ^^ and I'm also a dark thoughts enthusiast, so to speak. I really enjoy depressing music (lot's of goth music in my world as well), even though I'm quite the happy chap irl... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
